Kristin Andrs, Nurse Practitioner, www.Andrswellness.com
Kristin Andrs has been a practicing nurse for more than 20 years since graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University’s master’s program in 2000. As a board-certified acute-care nurse, she has a background in surgery, emergency medicine, cardiovascular, pulmonary, and gastrointestinal and endocrine diseases. Ms. Andrs is a frequent lecturer for the VCU School of Nursing and Medicine, the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners, and at various local events.
As a recipient of the 2014 Distinguished Nurse Practitioner Award, she has been recognized for her professional excellence and initiative at both local and state levels. She also received the Advanced Practice Internal Expert Award for VCU Medical Center.
Leland Stillman, MD
Dr. Stillman is a board-certified member of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine. After studying biochemistry and environmental health with a minor in chemistry at Connecticut College, he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and later received his medical doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Medicine.
Dr. Stillman completed a three-year residency in Internal Medicine at the Maine Medical Center and later practiced general medicine at various U.S. medical centers, including Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast, Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center, and North Alabama Medical Center.

You’ll learn how to best discuss regulatory impacts on your business and to share ideas of how legislative leaders can continue efforts to improve early education statewide.

VCCA encourages all private child care facility owners, directors, and teachers to send emails or make quick phone calls that day to their General Assembly representatives. Benedetti will share contacts and suggestions to help you further support VCCA’s legislative outreach and education priorities.
